Day Two of Finals
I have been studying Genetics for like 6 hours. I never want to see another punt square again in my life. I also have run out of food at home because either everything has gone bad or I actually ate it recently. I feel like I live in a cave where I must go out and "hunt" (try and desperately find some food in the cupboard), and then return and do more Genetics. I am a new type of homeo sapien- the "hunter and learner." Tomorrow is the big day, when I take Genetics and determine weather this semester was a huge waist of time or not.

Day One of Finals!
Well today is the first day of finals, which means I only have 6 more days in Utah! For 4 months that is. I only have three finals to take by Friday so I'm not really stressed. I probably should be though to motivate me to study. I also got all my flight tickets that I'll need for the next 6 months. One one-way flight to LA for Christmas. One round-trip ticket from LA to Seattle for Natania's Wedding. One one-way ticket from LA to Santiago. One one-way ticket from Santiago to Lima. One round-trip ticket from Lima to Cuzco. One one-way ticket from Lima to LA. I think after this I'll never want to fly again.

Christmas with the Entrikins
Today is day two of reading days, another whole day with nothing scheduled. I don't know how many more unplanned days I can deal with, so today I least planned a few things. MUST DOS: sell back text books, volunteer, get free boxes (and maybe check out the really cute shoes in the bookstore-you know while I'm there), and STUDY. Today looks pretty normal, but I'm way excited about Sunday! So the Entrikins (close family friends) like to have Christmas on a different day than actual Christmas (family tradition). And this year they've decided to do it while I'm still in Utah! I'm actually really excited to have Christmas with them. I've gotten to know them so well this semester since I go over there every Sunday night. Their like my "peeps." Everyone visits someone on Sunday it feels like at BYU (well to me it does at least). And when the week is over Sunday night I go to the Entrikins. I went shopping for them this past Tuesday and got them all something! I got teddy bears for the boys, a tie for Blake and a ladle for Sister Entrikin. The ladle is the funniest! It totally just looks like a ladle with rapping paper on it. I can't wait to give them their gifts. Then we're going to have a nice dinner and go to a Christmas fireside in their Ward.
Until next time...

My First Blog
Well here's my first blog! I don't know how much contact I'll be able to have when I go to Chile, so I thought I would get a blog so all my family and friends can still see what I'm up to. I don't leave for another 28 days (not that I'm counting or anything :D) but I though I would get a head start.
Today is day one of reading days, which really means day one of the most boring part of the semester, and one of the most air headed days of my life. Somehow I wrote in my assignment notebook that my IAS final was at 11:30... yeah it was at 11. Showing up half an hour late was awesome. And I found out I get a free backpack for just paying tuition before I leave for Chile! That just makes leaving the country totally worth it right? :D
Until next time....
