Noche de Valdivia is the last big party Valdivia has before school starts. It's like a big party ending summer. Everyone is sad to start school next week. There are thousands of people who line the coast of the big river waiting for the boat parade to start when it gets dark. Boats go by all jazzed up with lights and performers. After the parade there is a firework show. Also amazing! Then everyone has a big chia fight! Chias are little circles of paper everyone throws everywhere and at everyone! It gets pretty crazy. You need to protect your eyes and mouth.
Over all it's just one big party for the city!
